Finally after a long wait Adobe has today launched its PDF Reader application onto iOS devices, joining its other iPad and iPhone applications which have been launched over the last couple of months. Since the arrival of the iPhone and iPad plenty of other PDF viewing applications have been created, but if you use PDFs regularly in your day to day activities then the new Adobe iOS PDF Reader application might be worth a look. As it brings a number of features for sharing your PDF files and the ability to e-mail and even print using Apple’s AirPrint feature.The PDF reader application also allows you to open a number of different PDF formats including: password protected PDF documents, PDF portfolios and of course Adobe LiveCycle PDF files. The new Adobe Reader application is now available to download for free from Apple App Store. The PDF Reader app works with iOS 4.2.5 and later and there is also an Android version that was released in May 2010 which is being updated to version 10.1 to keep both applications on par with each other.
