HTC has announced its latest Android smartphone, the HTC Explorer, targeted at entry-level users hoping to step up from their featurephone.
This hand set comes with single core 600 MHz processor and works on Google Android 2.0 Gingerbread operating system. Its processor is supported with the 512 MB in built memory with 384 MB of RAM.
The HTC Explorer has 3.2 mega pixels of camera installed with on it with LED flash to click better images in night time. The handset is loaded with 3.2-inch inches of HVGA touch screen display with Resolution of 320 X 480 Pixels.
There is a good list of features which includes Bluetooth, microUSB 2.0, GPS Navigation, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n connectivity, Android Market and Google services.
The HTC Explorer is expected to go on sale in Europe and Asia from October 2011. Pricing will depend on market.
