The report says that 49.9 of smartphones sold for that period in the UK were Android devices, this compares to 18.5 percent for Apple’s iPhone and 22.5 percent for BlackBerry devices. Also revealed in the report was that for the same period 70 percent of all the mobile phone sold were smartphones, and according to the figures around 43.8 percent of the UK population now owns a smartphone.
