How To Add Animated Custom Boot Logo On Jailbroken iPhone With Greenpois0n

These are instructions on how to change or add animated or static boot logos on your jailbroken iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (on iOS 4.2.1), and Verizon iPhone 4 (on iOS 4.2.6) with Greenpois0n software jailbreak tool. We have covered both the methods on customization offered by Greenpoison jailbreak on iPhone 4 4.2.1 untethered jailbreak.

Process No: (A)
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G (runs on iOS 4.2.6) or the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 (runs on iOS 4.2.6) using GreenPois0n RC5 and Cydia app
Step 2: Launch Cydia app and search for Apple Boot Logo from ModMyi repository
Step 3: Tap to download package and install the downloaded file on your device. Reboot for the changes to take place.
Step 4: Now go to settings and change the boot logo to your preferred one. Reboot again.

Process No: (B)
Step 1: Jailbreak your iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 3G (runs on iOS 4.2.6) or the Verizon CDMA iPhone 4 (runs on iOS 4.2.6) using GreenPois0n RC5 and Cydia app
Step 2: Download a file called “Animate” from the download link posted below.
Step 3: SSH in your device using WinScp [Windows] or CyberDuck [Mac] . Then navigate to the following directory /usr/bin/ and copy the downloaded file
Step 4: You now have to change the file’s permissions to 755 and reboot. After doing so the animated boot logo is switched on. To deactivate it, simply remove the Animate file via SSH and reboot again.
