Pictures of an unannounced LG Windows Phone handset have leaked online. A member the xda developers forum from Romania claims to have bought the handset, dubbed the LG Fantasy, from a tester also based in the country. The source reports that the phone runs Windows Phone Mango 7.5 and it will allegedly be available in the first quarter of 2012, though with no indication as to where it will be launched.According to the forum post, the LG Fantasy has a 4-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen, 8GB of internal storage, an 8-megapixel primary camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facer. All this is powered by what is described as a 'second generation' 1GHz processor, which is cited as being a Qualcomm Snapdragon elsewhere in the thread. Benchmark tests posted in the thread show the device gave very high performance and was quicker than an HTC Radar.
With a Q1 launch suggested it seems highly likely this phone will make its official debut at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January and at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in February. We'll be covering both events closely so stay tuned for more info as it emerges.
