How To Fix iBooks App Anti-Jailbreaking Code in iOS 4.2.1 Greenpois0n Jailbreak Without Jailbreaking

Well it seems like the Cupertino, California-based Apple is testing a new anti-jailbreak code, and they embedded it on its software updates. Recently, the iPhone maker launched an update to iBooks app for iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch. And as a result, Apple disables iBooks on jailbroken iPhone, iPad, and iPod Touch.

Apple does not open digital books loaded with DRM on the jailbroken iOS. iPhone hacker and an integral member of the iPhone Dev Team Comex reported that the updated iBooks app is trying to analyze the iOS system to determine if its jailbroken or not through executing improperly signed binary. If the app figured out that the iOS is jailbroken then it does not open. However, the good news is that, a new Cydia tweak has been released in order to resolve the iBooks app issues. The name of this tweak is iBooks Fix and you can download it in Cydia App store for free of cost. The solution available in Cydia Store fixes the iBooks on iOS 4.2.1 devices jailbroken using the Greenpois0n without needing restore and re-jailbreak.

Here is how to install iBooks Fix.
Step 1: Tap on Cydia icon and go to Manage -> Sources -> Edit -> Add.
Step 2: Type the address of Insanelyi repositr0y “ http://repo.insanelyi.com “ and tap on “Add Source”.
Step 3: Search for “iBooks Fix” and install it.

After you have installed this tweak on your jailbroken iOS device you can now open iBooks app and access all your DRM-filled books on your jailbroken iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad.
