Boost Mobile gets the eco-friendly Samsung Replenish - priced at $100 no-contract

Before the arrival of Christmas, we got word that Boost Mobile was going to be blessed with two new Android powered smartphones – with one of them believed to be the eco-friendly Samsung Replenish. Well folks, it looks as though it’s a reality now that it has been officially announced!

Essentially the same exact QWERTY packing device that Sprint currently owns, the Samsung Replenish for Boost Mobile still retains all of the green-friendly aspects found with its close sibling – like its recycled plastic exterior and environmentally constructed packaging. In addition, Boost touts its “green benefits” that allow customers to trade in their old devices through Boost’s new Buyback program. Last, but not least, customers can shrink their monthly cost by $5 for every six on-time payments with Boost Mobile’s $55 Android Monthly Unlimited Plan with Shrinkage – bringing its cost to as low as $40 per month.

For those not familiar with the Samsung Replenish, it features a 2.8” display, portrait style keyboard, 2-megapixel camera, video recording, GPS, Bluetooth, and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. The handset will be available for purchase starting on January 16th through Boost Mobile’s exclusive retail stores, select independent wireless dealers across the country, and online through Boost’s web site.

Thankfully, this eco-friendly device carries only a $99.99 no-contract cost – making it more than affordable on most budgets.
