Dell Streak 7 gets a new software update for bugs found with its Honeycomb transition
Nowadays, if you look and search hard enough, you can probably snag some sort of stellar deal on the Dell Streak 7 – yeah, the same one that made its debut at last year’s CES show. During its run, we saw this tablet get the upgrade to Honeycomb back in October, which became a big surprise to owners – but nonetheless, it was seen as an appreciative gesture.
Naturally, there are plenty of owners glad to see it sporting a tablet-optimized platform, as opposed to a super-sized smartphone experience. Well, since its transition over to the Honeycomb world, there were some bugs that were apparently produced along the way – though, it shouldn’t be bugging users that much anymore.
Surprisingly enough, the Dell Streak 7 is seeing a new software update that’s available for download right now through Dell’s web site. From the sound of it all, it addresses some of the bugs that were born from its update to Honeycomb – like an issue that caused the sound to go in and out when connected to the docking station.
Needless to say, it’s going to appease those affected owners out there, but it’s nevertheless nice to see Dell making sure its 7-inch tablet is still getting some sort of love.
