Micromax A75 Superfone Lite

After the A85 handset brought in gesture control, the Micromax A75 Superfone Lite has decided to please fans in India by coupling the same feature with the Android 2.3 OS. It is being put forth by the company as an affordable dual SIM handset targeted at the youth brigade.

Operating on the Gingerbread OS, the device gives access to a vast array of apps in the Android Market, along with other services like Gmail, Google Talk, and more. The A75 is embedded with a 650MHz processor, which is said to offer smooth web browsing and multitasking, along with various other features. The A75 also boasts of practically unlimited SMS storage and phonebook memory, though we’re not sure of what they mean by that. Accompanied by a 3.5mm universal jack, the device offers connectivity options like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, and more. It also suffices to capture spontaneous photos and videos with a front as well as a rear facing camera.

According to Micromax, the A75 “offers customers UIM and SIM card slots with dual standby and low power consumption.”

The smartphone is equipped with a 650 MHz processor and packs 190 MB of internal memory and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB). Micromax A75 features a wide range of connectivity options, such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth support, Wi-fi Hotspot and GPS (Google Maps) capabilities, microUSB port, as well as 2G and 3G.
