Nokia is good at making simple candy bar phones and the C5 is a good example. The handset is made from a combination of plastic and aluminum, which feels pretty light in the hands. It came in the white version with a metallic silver band that runs along the sides of the device. The C5 is also available in a warm-grey shade.
The C5 runs on the Symbian S60 3rd edition operating system with Feature Pack 2, which is practically on every other non-touchscreen Nokia smartphone.
The CPU is powered by, 600 MHz ARM 11 processor. C5 has 2.2 inches TFT, 16M colors with 240 x 320 pixels resolution.
It has a awesome 5 MP camera with 2592х1944 pixels that has fixed focus, LED flash. The camera can record video @15fps there is also a Secondary VGA videocall camera. C5 is packed with 270 MB internal storage, with 256 MB RAM, 512 MB ROM. There is 2GB internal memory and 32GB expandable memory.
Other stuffs like FM radio, music player, games etc are include in the phone. It comes with Standard battery, Li-Ion 1050 mAh (BL-5CT) that has Stand-by time Up to 600 h (2G) / Up to 672 h (3G) and Talk time Up to 11 h (2G) / Up to 4 h 40 min (3G) Music play time is Up to 30 h. The Nokia C5 doesn't excite, but it won't disappoint, either.
If you're looking for a basic handset with smartphone-like features, the C5 is worth considering. It's a neat, compact and affordable mid-range device that delivers for the most part. You can find it on the market on the third quarter of 2011.
