It is almost 8 months since the Cupertino, California-based Apple released their highly anticipated second gen iPad tablet PC to the general public. The new iPad 2 clearly dominates the entire tablet market as it outperformed its competition, just like the iPad 1. In fact, Apple retains its dominance in the fierce tablet competition despite the fact that they didn’t upgrade the iPad 2 display. And now, it is widely speculated that the iPhone/ iPad-maker will finally introduced Retina display on their upcoming tablet PC – the same technology used on the iPhone 4, iPod Touch 4G, and iPhone 4S. However, a new reports surfaced that apple is struggling in upgrading the iPad 3 to Retina display.As we all know, Apple is planning to enhance the display resolution of their next generation iPad tablet PC. However, numerous reports were indicating that manufacturers LG Display and Samsung might not meet the due date because they can’t afford to provide such a high volume in limited. At the moment, we are hearing numerous reports and rumors that the iPad 3 could land of Apple’s store shelves in fall this year, but the challenges being faced by manufacturers might changed Apple’s initial release date plan. Now the Wall Street Journal is reporting that the third gen iPad is expected to be released to the public in spring next year. And the latest rumor, via Macotakara, claimed the new iPad tablet will have a smaller dock which could cause compatibility issues with older Apple iOS devices.
On the other hand, CNET is reporting, based on their sources, that Apple is having trouble packing the large amount of pixels necessary into a 10-inch screen display.
