Resident Evil, Monster Hunter and more coming to mobile next year

Since purchasing OpenFeint and starting the merger with the company, GREE has signed up a number of big name game developers to bring some AAA titles to Android and iOS devices starting in Q2 of 2012.

A number of huge developers have signed on to bring games to the new platform, including Sega, Capcom, Square Enix, and Namco-Bandi and more. And, the big name developers are reportedly working on some top notch titles as well. Word has it Android and iOS devices will be getting versions of Resident Evil Mercenaries VS, Monster Hunter: Dynamic Hunting, Yakuza, Dance Dance Revolution, Dynasty Warriors and other popular Japanese titles.

The service certainly sounds amazing. The one trouble is that we aren't sure if these games will be making it out of Japan. It seems as though many of the titles available will be Japan-only, but that shouldn't really be too much of a problem as the bigger name franchises should be released everywhere. We would certainly be very surprised if Resident Evil Mercenaries VS didn't see a release outside of Japan.
