Sony Ericsson Nozomi leaks out in Hong Kong, coming at CES 2012?
The Sony Ericsson Nozomi is not exactly the best kept secret out there - images of the handset have already leaked a couple of times showing its catchy boxy design, and now we are one step closer to knowing everything about the upcoming handset. The Nozomi is reportedly undergoing carrier testing in Japan and despite some parts of the pictures being blurred out, it’s clear that the handset is pretty slim. We can also see that SE is keeping a slightly alternated version of the Xperia UI and more particularly the Timescape widget. The futuristic neon glow of the tiny strip of plastic at the bottom could be used for anything, or just decoration, and that’s one thing we’d love to hear more about.
Sony Ericsson Nozomi leaks out in Hong Kong, coming at CES 2012?
The site where this latest leak originates from says the Nozomi will make an official appearance at CES 2012, and that wouldn’t surprise us as SE’s 2011 flagship, the Xperia arc, was also unveild at the show.
The Sony Ericsson Nozomi is rumored to have a 4.3-inch display with 720p resolution and a 1.5GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM under the hood. What makes it different is the expected 12-megapixel rear-facing camera, a sensor that could be of the Exmor R variety for better low light performance.
The handset might launch with Gingerbread, but an update to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich should come quickly after the roll-out.
