Nokia Lumia 710 For T-Mobile Gets Official

Nokia has announced its first Windows Phone smartphone for the US, the Nokia Lumia 710, which will be available with US mobile carrier T-Mobile on the 11th of January 2012. The T-Mobile Lumia 710 will come with HSPA 14.4, which means that the device is one of the first 4G Windows Phone smartphones to launch in the US, other specifications include a 3.7 inch WVGA touchscreen display with an 800 x 480- pixel resolution, there is also 8GB of built in storage and a single core 1.4GHz processor, plus Windows Phone 7.5 Mango.

Other features on the Nokia Lumia 710 also comes with include 512MB of RAM, plus a 5 megapixel camera with an LED flash and it can record HD video in 720p there is also a 1,300 mAh battery and it comes with Bluetooth 2.1, A-GPS, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and a micro USB port. T-Mobile will offer the Nokia Lumia 710 for $49.99 after rebates when you sign up to a new two year contract with the carrier, you can find out more information over at T-Mobile.

Nokia And T-Mobile To Announce Windows Phone Devices December 14th

It looks like Nokia’s new Windows Phone smartphones are headed to US mobile carrier T-Mobile, as the company has sent out invites to a press event on the 14th of December, which is next Wednesday. Although the invite doesn’t actually mention Windows Phone devices, it is pretty obvious from the invitations design that Nokia and T-Mobile will be announcing Windows Phone smartphones.

We don’t as yet have any details on what devices will be announced, whether it could be the Nokia Lumia 800 and Nokia Lumia 710 which were announced a while back or some new Nokia Windows smartphones for the US.

T-Mobile Nokia Lumia 710 Discovered At the FCC

We heard earlier today that Nokia and T-Mobile will hold a press conference next week, when the two companies are expected to announce T-Mobile’s new range of Nokia Windows Phone devices. We were expecting to see the Nokia Lumia 800 announced on T-Mobile next week, this may still happen, but we will most likely see the Nokia Lumia 710 announced for T-Mobile as the device has appeared at the FCC with T-Mobile branding.

It isn’t clear as yet on whether the Nokia Lumia 710 will be the only device that will be announced for T-Mobile next week.
