All of our Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich-Samsung Galaxy NEXUS coverage in one place
The joint event featuring Google and Samsung at AsiaD, we can safely say, brought two major novelties that will affect Android and the industry for years in the future. The first one was the unveiling of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, a big redefinition of Google’s platform bringing tablet and smartphone operating systems back together into a single unified UI. It looks a lot like Honeycomb on tablets, but it’s not a direct copy as it has been tweaked for optimal performance on phones.

And speaking of phones, the Samsung GALAXY Nexus was the first device to herald us into the ICS era. It comes with a humongous 4.65-inch Super AMOLED display boasting an impressive resolution of 720x1280 pixels, a dual-core processor and everything else you’d expect from a high-end Android device. We’ve got it all covered of course, and for your reading convenience here’s us chopping the announcement to pieces from every possible viewing angle. We haven't included every single piece of news, but only the major ones in our view. Feel free to check them all out below:
