After more than a year of endless rumors and speculation and one and half years after the Cupertino, California-based Apple released their uber popular second gen tablet PC, the Palo Alto, California company Facebook has finally released the much anticipated Facebook app for the iPad (iPhone and iPod Touch). Though you can download the Facebook app from the App Store since day one, the new Facebook is a special app as it is reported that it was designed specifically Apple’s 9.7 inch tablet PC. The new Facebook app is available for free download as a universal app in the iTunes App Store.
